Pet Collision and Motion Issues
beckster75
Pets can cause problems for boats such as sinking or bouncing them when they are inside, on, or under the boat. I have seen boats start bouncing from the motion of a parrot if the parrot gets trapped inside an enclosed area, and one time a friend's SS Mary Ann got pushed far underwater by pets on board. This led to long bouncing through the sky and sea after the boat got unstuck from its underwater position. I have attached 2 screenshots from this occurrence. Another issue which has been mentioned in a separate report is that turtles tend to spin in place and not follow the owner properly. Turtles may also push against or under players while moving across land (without saying "excuse me", rude). An unusual thing I have seen occur for monkeys is that they will appear in the sky occasionally.
While the placement and positioning of pets is generally a minor issue, the physical effects on boats are more troublesome and lead boat owners to often ask people to unequip pets while on board. This will matter more when pets have functional fishing/hunting boosts that players will want to make use of.

Orc and Lava Pets Not Boosting Spear Damage
beckster75
The Orc pets and Lava pets each list a 5% spear damage boost. However, when I have them equipped, the amount of spear damage inflicted on creatures does not change at all. I have included screen clippings of the stats listed for Orc Parrot and Lava Parrot, which are paired with full screenshots taken when hunting with these pets equipped.
In the attached full screenshots, I am hunting sharks with the Double Edged Spear, which does 200 damage per hit. The XP gained when hunting without XP boosts is equal to half of the damage value, so 200 damage will bring 100 XP. If a 5% boost is added to the 200 damage, the damage would be 210 and the XP would be 105. The XP being gained per hit remains at 100 when either an Orc or Lava pet is equipped, which means their stated spear damage boost is not occurring.

This happens to me too and they always run diametrically to me.
