so I was wondering around with the gemstone spear when I realized that when I hit the sea monster with it and it gives me the 2 gems, it takes some times for the damage to be applied on the sea monster.

Like at one time I hit the orca, it gives me the 2 gems but then there is a delay, that delay made the orca hit me before it died short after without me hitting again, it only happens in the gemstone spear and it happens just if the gems are awarded.

The delay is like 2 or 3 seconds.

It waits till the animation ends, then an extra second after that the damage is applied.
