This continues to happen as of today. After dying by sharks or by reset (that I know of), my spear will be unusable. I can equip it, but no amount of tapping my screen does anything. It has happened three times now and can only be fixed by rejoining the game. This is very frustrating to me because it takes several minutes for me to load the game at home.
Note: I have a video but it would take me a very long time to convert it to a gif.

This has happened to me many times and it鈥檚 very inconvenient. It鈥檚 only fixable by leaving and rejoining and sometimes it happens mid boat driving. Which usually means there are orcas following me I cant hit because my spear has broke.

I have recently experienced spear failure after death, but didn't track which specific form of death it was each time. I had to rejoin the game to regain function of my spear.
