When opening rod/pet chests, you should be able to choose how many you want to open rather than just spam clicking on them to open. The chests could have a few extra buttons like Open 10x or hopefully Open 100x. There could be a warning before you do it asking if you're sure you wanna open x that way you don't accidentally spend way more than you wanted to. It'll tell you how much it'll cost and of course, deny you if your currency isn't enough! After selecting the amount and opening, it'll bring up a list you can scroll through of every rod you got. The more rare being at the start and the more common towards the end.
